ZVAGO Cooperative Waitlist

The Cooperative maintains two separate waitlists: an Internal Waitlist, and an External Waitlist. The internal waitlist is available to current member is the cooperative and is maintained in a sequential order based on position example (1, 2, 3) No deposit is required to participate in the internal waitlist and individuals on the list are afforded priority over those on the external waitlist when units become available. 

The External Waitlist is available to prospective members and requires the completion of a Waitlist Reservation form along with a refundable deposit of $200. Placement on the External Waitlist is determined by the date of the reservation. and each applicant is assigned a priority number. Inclusion on the waitlist provides priority consideration only and does not constitute an obligation to purchase or a guarantee of unit availability. 

When a unit becomes available the Cooperative enters a 60-day option period which begins following the filing of an intent to sell. During this period the cooperative retains the exclusive right to identify and approve a purchaser. all individuals on the waitlists are notified and of availability of the unit, regardless of their position.

If a interested party wishes to proceed, they may submit an Intent to Purchase along with a $10,000 refundable deposit. Upon the receipt of the intent to purchase during the 60-day option period the Cooperative initiates a 48-hour notification process. All individuals with a higher priority on the waitlist are notified and provided 48 hours to exercise their priority and submit their own Intent to Purchase. 

All prospective purchases regardless of waitlist status, must complete financial and background screening and are subject to approval by the Board of Directors prior to finalizing the transaction.
